LOKNITI
The Challenge : The Lokniti Programme for Comparative Democracy was established in 1997 as a research program of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi. Lokniti team reached out for their latest report on WOMEN & POLITICS cover design. The design challenge was to embrace women's involvement in voting and Indian politics through graphics.
Our Approach
After a session with the core Lokniti’s team we decided to go with illustrations depicting the voting queue of diverse women within India diversity of cultures.We used illustrations
as a medium to convey our approach. Where illustrations design elements can reflect the story of the Indian Women merely young or old taking part in the largest democracy.
Rollout
Eventually the whole project got rejected by the client due to time constraints but we decided to share it here.
